This article will provide the steps to locate and update the mail server settings.
Note as your device or email client may be using a different version than that used in this article, the steps or words may be slightly different than presented below.
- Select File
- Select the required email account
- Select Account Settings, then select Server Settings
- On this page, set each of these fields as per below:
- User name: Enter your full email address
- Password: Enter your password
- Server: imap.themessagingco.com.au
- Port: 993
- Encryption method: SSL/TLS
- Select Outgoing mail, then set each field as per below:
- Server: smtp.themessagingco.com.au
- Port: 465
- Encryption method: SSL/TLS
- Ensure that My outgoing (SMTP) service requires authentication is checked (turned on)
- Ensure that Use same settings as incoming mail server is selected
- Select Next
- Select Done
