Recently, a number of our customers have asked us to confirm if an email is legitimate. The email typically claims it is from The Messaging Company, is related to The Messaging Company, or it is from a current email provider.
Unfortunately, some of these emails are spam. There are some bad actors out there trying to obtain sensitive customer information through what is known as phishing, so if you receive an email that you are not sure about (such as the examples below), it is important that you do NOT click any links in the email.
