If you received communication from The Messaging Company advising you to update the outgoing email settings please update as per this article.
Open your email application and locate the outgoing mail server settings (SMTP). Update the settings as per below:
- User Name: Enter your full email address
- Password: Enter your email password
- Server Name: smtp.themessagingco.com.au
- Port: 465
- Security Type: SSL/TLS
- Authentication: Password (Mail app) / Normal Password (Thunderbird) / Not applicable to Outlook

Unless you have been advised, do NOT change your inbound email settings. Changing inbound email settings could cause an interruption to your email service or loss of email if configured incorrectly.
