- The Messaging Company's systems were not involved in the cyber incident.
- As per the statement on iiNet's website,"iiNet has been impacted by a cyber incident involving unauthorised access to its order management system by an unknown third party" that involved some iiNet email addresses.
- If you have an iiNet email address and are concerned about the security of your email account, we advise to:

- Remain vigilant, especially to any suspicious communications received via email, text or phone call.

To reset your email account password
- Enter webmail.themessagingco.com.au into the address bar of your browser
- Select Reset my password

Enter your email address & mobile phone number, then select REQUEST PASSWORD RESET
Note
Only a valid Australian mobile number can currently be used in this process. If you did not register with a mobile number, or you registered with an overseas mobile number you will need to contact the support team for assistance.
- Once you have the One Time Pin (OTP) that was sent to your mobile phone, enter the OTP on this page, then select SUBMIT
- Enter your new password, re-enter your new passwword to confirm, then select SUBMIT

Note
After resetting your password, make sure to update your password in any email applications you are using. This includes updating both the incoming and outgoing server settings.
