If you receive any payment request for your email account, please read it carefully to ensure it is legitimate.
Generally we would only send you a notification if you have never made a payment (first time selecting a plan - How to select a subscription plan) OR there was an issue with your payment.
If you supplied us with your saved payment method, your payment method is valid, i.e. not expired, your account will renew on the due date without any action required by you.
Beware of scams
We are aware of scams pretending to be The Messaging Company or your previous service provider.
To confirm if an email relating to the payment of your email account was from us, make sure it was sent from our official email address noreply@themessaging.co
Any email that says it is from us about payments but does not come from our official sending email address is spam.
If you interacted with a scam email
- If you entered your payment details on an illegitimate site, please contact your bank immediately.
- If you clicked a link that took you to an illegitimate site, we recommend you reset your password immediately and review the other recommended actions section in this article: I think my account has been compromised.
