If you are trying to email a The Messaging Company customer and receiving one of these errors:

• 550 Rejected - Content Policy
• 550 Rejected - Content Policy for unverified email
• Email being marked as spam
• Email is bounced

or similar, this is because our email scanning tools have detected potential issues with your email.

We use a number of different technologies to protect our customers from spam, phishing and scam emails.

What can you do?

1. Review your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records are set correctly.
   1. Use a service to verify your records are set correctly

        • Note:

          2. These services may provide indications if your service is configured in the expected manner. This does not guarantee delivery of email to our customers as other factors may be impacting your ability to send.
2. Review your email and its content.
   1. Use a email verifying service to review your email and provide a potential spam score/rating.
      • Some example services include Active Campaign and Mail Chimp.
        • Note:

          2. These services may provide indications if your service is configured in the expected manner. This does not guarantee delivery of email to our customers as other factors may be impacting your ability to send.
3. If you have completed all of the above and are still receiving rejected emails - you may be blocked and will need to contact us so that we can;
   1. Verify who you are and your organisation
   2. Verify the legitimacy of your emails
   3. Remove or adjust rules which may be preventing your from sending email to our customers
