This support page provides information on what is required to change/update your registered account name.
How to request a change/update of an account name
- Please email support@themessaging.co
- Ensure all the documentation stated below is included
- Failing to provide the required documentation as outlined may result in delays in processing your request.
Please submit copies of ONE of the following documents:
- Marriage certificate
- Change of name certificate
- Divorce certificate/order
- Statutory declaration
AND
- A copy of identification (e.g. drivers licence, passport or other suitable identification)
If submitting a statutory declaration, this should include:
- The current full name registered on the account, email address, date of birth and the phone number registered on the account.
- A statement confirming the requested change to the account name.
Statutory declaration:
There are multiple options to create a statutory declaration, for faster processing we recommend using myGov (If using myGov a form of identification is not required)
