How to Close an Email Account and/or Transfer Ownership
- Please submit the necessary details by completing our Contact us form.
- Select Other from the Contact reason menu
This helps our dedicated support team guide you through the process of closing the account or transferring ownership to your name.
Please submit copies of the following documents:
- Your Power of attorney or court order, or an official note or letter from a doctor outlining the relevant circumstances, and a
- Statutory declaration from an authorised person
The Declaration should include:
- The account holder's full name, email address, date of birth, and mobile phone number registered with the account.
- The requesting party's full name, address, date of birth and mobile phone number.
- The requested action (i.e. account closure or account transfer).
- The relationship of the requesting party.

A statutory declaration must be witnessed by an appropriately qualified person as described on the declaration.
