Preparing a statutory declaration
- There are multiple options to create a statutory declaration, for faster processing we recommend using myGov.
Other statutory declarations forms will be accepted, however they will require additional time for our team to review and process.
- Using myGov:
- Instructions can be found here on the myGov website: https://my.gov.au/en/about/help/digital-id/digital-commonwealth-statutory-declaration#mygovstatdec
- Other options:
- Information can be found here on the Attorney-General's Department website: https://www.ag.gov.au/legal-system/statutory-declarations/about-commonwealth-statutory-declarations
- A statutory declaration must be witnessed by an appropriately qualified person as described on the declaration.
